Suitability Criteria

To be suitable for the Tongarewa International Scholarship, candidates must:

• Be universal students paying full universal fees.
• Be entering their 1^st year of a learner’s degree or starting a graduate degree at Victoria University of Wellington.

Ineligibility:

• Students who finished their secondary  education at a New Zealand school.
• Those who have completed the English for Academic Purposes (EAP) or Foundation Studies Program.
• Study Overseas or Join students from foreign partner universities.
• Students in their 2^nd year of the same degree program at Victoria University of Wellington.
